Representatives of the National Health Insurance Company trained in the field of personal data protection
On 6 October 2026, the National Center for Personal Data Protection (NCPDP) organised a training session on personal data protection for representatives of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM).
The training aimed to strengthen the knowledges and develop the skills of CNAM staff in the proper application of personal data protection rules, in the context of processing citizens’ personal data and performing their official duties in the field of mandatory health insurance.
The session addressed relevant aspects of compliance with personal data protection principles, institutional responsibilities in the processing of personal data and the importance of ensuring an appropriate level of data security and confidentiality.
Furthermore, participants had the opportunity to discuss practical scenarios and clarify issues relating to the application of legal provisions in their day-to-day activities.
Personal data protection is a fundamental aspect of the activities of both public and private entities. Continuous staff training contributes to strengthening an organisational culture based on accountability, lawfulness and respect for data subjects’ rights.
The event was held in a hybrid format at the premises of the National Health Insurance Company, with approximately 200 employees participating.
