The National Centre for Personal Data Protection attended the 43rd plenary meeting of the Committee of the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data (Convention 108)
The representatives of the National Centre for Personal Data Protection participated in the 43rd Plenary session of the Committee of Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data (Convention 108), held in Strasbourg, France on 16-18 November.
During the plenary meeting, the report of the 42nd plenary meeting, that took place on 17-19 November 2021, the report of the 55th Bureau meeting (23-25 March 2022) and the Committee’s work Programme for 2022-2025 were presented.
Also, aspects on consequences of the Russian Federation’s aggression against Ukraine; Convention 108+ current situation; digital identity; Interstate exchange of data for anti-money laundering/combating financing of terrorism; interpretation of article 11 of Convention 108+, model contractual clauses in the context of transborder data flows; cooperation with the Council of Europe and other entities, etc. were discussed.
