Today, 14 September 2026, the National Centre for Personal Data Protection (NCPDP) organised a training course on personal data protection for representatives of the „Eugen Doga” International Airport.
The aim of the training course was to develop employees’ competences regarding the correct application of the legal framework, as well as the international requirements and best practices applicable to entities in the aviation and transport sectors.
The training covered key topics such as the fundamental principles and rules governing the processing of personal data, the responsibilities of controllers, the conditions for lawful processing, respect for the rights of data subjects, and the measures necessary to ensure data confidentiality and security.
The training session was attended by 80 employees of the ‘Eugen Doga’ International Airport, who process a substantial volume of personal data on a daily basis.
During the course, participants had the opportunity to consolidate the knowledge and competencies necessary for the responsible and secure management of personal data, as well as for preventing the risks associated with its processing. Furthermore, the training provided participants with clarification on practical aspects regarding compliance with legal requirements and ensuring an appropriate level of data protection in the organisation’s operations.
The NCPDP reaffirms its commitment to supporting public and private institutions in the correct application of legislation in the field of personal data protection and in promoting best practice in this area. Such activities contribute to the consolidation of an organisational culture based on accountability, compliance and respect for the rights of data subjects.
